The Genbukan Shin Jin Dojo was set up in 1999 by Sensei Stuart Allison who has practised martial arts and Genbukan Ninpo for over twenty years.

Sensei Stuart's vision for the dojo has resulted in a place where people from all walks of life, ages, gender, sexuality and ability can train in traditional Japanese martial arts. Sensei Stuart is a pupil of Grandmaster Shoto Tanemura Sensei.

Thanks to Sensei Stuart's work to raise awareness in the Brighton and Sussex area Shin Jin Dojo now has many students who train regularly at the dojo. One thing links them all a shared joy in training in true martial arts.

The dojo is situated below the Samurai Centre, 69 North Street Brighton BN1 1YD. The dojo has full changing facilities and is designed to resemble an authentic Japanese dojo, creating one of the most authentic dojos in the South East.

There are beginners classes for children aged 5-9, juniors age 9-15, adults, women's classes and also one on one private lessons.
